Is The ‘other Bookmarks’ Folder Under Bookmark Manager There By Default In Google Chrome?

Is the ‘other bookmarks’ folder under bookmark manager there by default in google chrome? Thanks for reading my question! I’d like to thank you in advance for any help, I’d really appreciate it!
Okay, Chrome keeps making all these shitty “updates”, which are really usually more like downgrades (frickin’ touchscreen-sized right-click menus… ), and I’m about 900% done with them!
Originally, I was just going to switch to Firefox, but instead, I eventually decided to just reinstall an older version of Chrome and turn off automatic updating; but I didn’t really want to lose all my bookmarks and such, so, long story short, I wanted to try to test it with my sister’s computer to see if I could get them even without the installation on my machine.
But the problem was, I had to sign in on MY chrome account on HER computer — and she has a lot of stupid crap bookmarked that I don’t want — and even though I unsynced her computer, it’s all now still on mine!
So I sat there and deleted it all off my user account… most of it was in a folder called ‘other bookmarks’, which I never noticed before, I always just put MY bookmarks under the regular ‘bookmarks bar’.
So, the point of all this being, my question: has that ‘other bookmarks’ thing always been there, by default, that google puts in chrome when you first install it, and I just never noticed it? Or is it some weird thing my sister created, that’s now infected my computer?
Thank you so much, yahoo answerers!
